Someone coming to Canada for the first time should know that is a very expensive country. Should bring warm clothes. Usually it's better if it comes with the right documentation. You should buy a smart phone to check the bus schedules and directions of the city. You should bring a computer and many medicines for flu and headache.
I'm sure you could find lots of useful apps to make living in Calgary easier. Fortunately, once spring starts, colds and flus won't be as common. :)

Also, try to write at least 100 words every time.
