Book The Interpreter

I really enjoyed reading this book "The Interpreter". It is a book that contains many emotions as intrigue, suspense and action. The characters do not reveal their true goals and personalities until the last moment. It's a story that resembles real life which makes it wonderful. My favorite character is the agent Tobin Keller Because smart is suspicious. sometimes he is the only one who knows an connects all the characters with situations. Defenitely I recommend this book to all my fellow ESL that wishing to increase their vocabulary.

Games

I'm not very fond of video games or board games. But I'll talk about two games that I enjoyed play when I was a child. Tomb Rider and Monopoly. The first one is an action-adventure video game. Created in 1996 by Core Design. Tomb Raider follows the exploits of Lara Croft, an English female archaeologist in search of ancient treasures. Lara confronts a lot of villains along of the game to get the treasures located in the remotest corners of the world.

Monopoly is my favorite game of all times. I think It is so rousing and exciting. There is constant chatter throughout  the game and the trading can reach unparalleled levels of intensity. Monopoly is an American board game based in economic theories of monopoly. Players move around the game board buying or trading properties, developing their properties with houses or hotels, and collect rent from their opponents.

My Favorite Season

My ideal season of the year is winter… In my country usually the weather is the same all year like tropical savanna climate. The winter season in Ecuador is from January to April in this time the climate it have high level of humid and is hot around 36 or 38 degrees with heavy rainfall. In this season a lot of people go to the beach and the students take a vacation. All weekends in my country I go to the beach because my home town is a 45 min from the beach. I like the parties in the beach and is a great opportunity to meet people. The rest of the year from May through December the weather there are minimal rainfall, a little bit cold, cloudy and very agreeable afternoon and evening breezes.

Sometimes I have had the opportunity to travel on different kind of transport such as: bus, motorcycle, ostrich, train, horse, donkey, tricycle, airplane, camel, car and subway. In my opinion the best means of transportation is by plane. In an Airplane travel you can observe things by their real dimension, besides the airplanes rarely are late. Always has a flight attendant who will attend as often as you need. It's a great opportunity to meet people, practice different languages and to buy duty free goods. I love flying. The main disadvantage is the high cost of this type of transport and Canada has a super high transportation costs. For these reason, many persons choose for means of transport mas conventional like bus or train.

 

Advice

Someone coming to Canada for the first time should know that is a very expensive country. Should bring warm clothes. Usually it's better if it comes with the right documentation. You should buy a smart phone to check the bus schedules and directions of the city. You should bring a computer and many medicines for flu and headache.

In my opinion, Calgary is a very safe city. You can tell how safe is a city according to the number of police who are on the streets. Since I came to Canada I have not seen any. That's a good indicator. In Ecuador you can see police on the streets and still perceived insecurity in the environment.

My Favorite Movie

Hello everybody... This night I wanna talking about "The Movies"

My favorite movie is "Tenacious D in The Pick of Destiny", starring by Jack Black and Kyle Gass. Is a comedy film about two guys that loves the music. Since childhood, Jack Black decides that will create the most amazing rock band in the world. Leaves his home and travels around the country until, as an adult, finds Kyle Gass, a street guitarist that impresses by his skills. Jack Black convince Kyle to create the band Tenacious D. Then receiving the information that all the big names in rock have used the same tine, called The Pick of Destiny, which is magical and is stored in a museum of rock and roll. As a logical consequence, they decide they have to steal it to succeed . My favorite part is when they face with Beelzeboss and to save their lives, they decide to invite Beelzeboss a challenge "rock-off", which he is forced to accept according to the "Demon Code". Is a very funny movie but targeted  for an adult audience.  I hope you enjoy this video...

 

If I had $10 million… What could I do?

If I had $10 million, it could be divided into four parts. The first $ 3 million would be to create an environmental analysis company with a fully equipped laboratory. The next $ 2 million I will invest in the creation of a chain of motels. People need privacy and this can be a lucrative business.Three million would be reserved for a political campaign and the last two million will be to enjoy with the family. City and Country

Hello People the topic from this week is "CITY AND COUNTRY". I talking abaut my city Guayaquil. I think is a good place for living. Is the most populous city and the capital economic of Ecuador with 2 millon of people. It has a beautiful River knowing that "El Manso y Caudaloso Rio Guayas" is a fountain of inspiration for some poets.

The architecture is very well and it has great building. The best place in Guayaquil it's cementery. Look at the pictures:
